A Texas Tribute

After seeing illegal aliens rioting, burning flags, and marching in our streets carrying the flag representing the country they risked their lives getting away from I received an E-mail about a Texas soldier’s funeral. I immediately went to Snopes.com in order to check whether or not the facts were real. What I found there was so uplifting I had to link it here. If you’ve felt like a stranger in your own land recently please visit the link to Snopes. You’ll be glad you did.

Does lift the spirits a bit. Good story.

It did it for me, Charles. It's the kind of Americana the media detests. That's why it took the soldier's Aunt to write it. The pictures were incredibly uplifting. Not all our kids are raised to be America hating yuppie larvae.

Thank you, Bernard.
This is the America that is my friend and neighbour.

It's the America I remember growing up too, Bernita, where you could display the 'Stars and Stripes' without being expelled from school.
