Terrorist Darwin Award
Taking pleasure in another’s misfortune usually makes for bad Karma. When I read this story about a leading Al Qaeda terrorist on the Arabian Peninsula blowing himself up while ‘messing with a bomb’ I had a bad case of Schadenfreude. My immediate take on the incident was hoping he was teaching a class of suicide bombers or showing off in front of friends… a lot of them. In any case Nayif Al-Qahtani gets my ‘Darwin Award’ for the weekend. :)
And hopefully take a few along for the ride, Raine. :)
I've watched a few of those shows, Charles. It is a wonder what producers come up with. One of my favorite 'Darwin Awards' went to a violent boyfriend who tried to get at his terrified girlfriend by smashing the windshield of the car she locked herself in with the butt of his shotgun. She was the only survivor. :)
Yes Bernita, it was impossible for me to scare up any feelings of remorse at this character's explosive demise.

I saw a similar event on 1000 ways to die once. I thought it was hilarious and fitting.
