Female Genital Mutilation

Female Genital Mutilation underlines the importance of a reformation within Islam. For 5,000 years little girls have been subjected to this butchery and now the butchers want to make this into a medical procedure here in the USA as a cultural moray. There should be one very loud response to this idiocy – if you want to keep that ‘Freddy Kruger’ crap in your culture do it somewhere else. Any man… or woman for that matter, who believes this is some kind of religious purification ceremony should never be allowed entrance into this country because they are too stupid to live anywhere else other than a cave in some stone age part of the world.

I'm all for religious freedom in general, and if you want to do something to hurt yourself as an aspect of religious ritual then so be it. But you've gotta leave the children along until they are old enough to make their own decisions. Permanent mutilation is not acceptable to me for those who cannot make a decision for themselves.

Yep, Charles, if an adult wants to disfigure themselves, play with snakes, walk on hot coals, or dress in yellow gowns with bald heads and beg at airports I don't care. No blood, no foul. Torture and Mutilate little girls for the purpose of eliminating their sexuality for life, I lock and load.

My DDS golfing friend now sees alot of arabs in his practice. Mi is a big destination for middle easterners.

He mentioned how he'd seen that the arab guys were really favored by the arab culture. The guys are given fancy cars and bling while the girls are really treated like 3rd class citizens. And it shows in the demeanors of each. The guys tend to be spoiled jerks while the females are much more humble and polite.

The only good thing he sees is that the coddled guys seem to have contempt for education ( who needs it, I'm special )whereas the girls talk alot about the college they will attend and the studies they want to pursue.

That education will be the best antidote to such idiotic rituals as mutilation.

"That education will be the best antidote to such idiotic rituals as mutilation."

Agreed, whydibuy.

It usually means the women becoming more vocal about some of the hideous tenets within the religion of submission too. By the way, no where in the Koran is this female torture mentioned. A bunch of 2 inchers 5,000 years ago got together and created this obscenity - and then complete imbeciles decided to pass it down for centuries as cultural enhancement. Oh barf!

Yes, imbeciles started and pass down this religious ritual idiocy.

But the same can be said about all so called religions.

The christian religion ( like all faiths )also was started by some guy claiming a deity spoke to him and gave him authority to which all the suckers followed.

Then a guy came along, known as jesus, and decided he was the fullfilment of the original book of fiction some man or men invented centuries before.

And, yes, christians went through thier own women hate due to the book of fiction's claim that a female tempted a fictional guy with an apple and cursed the world.

The height of the christian woman hate was the witch hunts and the malious malificarum ( hammer against witches ) which historians cite as written by a couple of female hating relious authorities.

I would say the muslim religion is simply a few hundred years behind the defanging of the christian ideals. They, too, will have to be dragged kicking and screaming away from those ancient ideas.

The Christian church went through a reformation long ago, whydibuy. In any case the point was not about a belief in God. As I mentioned, female mutilation is not in the Koran. The point I was making was passing ritualistic torture of little girls down through the ages for five thousand years. That takes a special type of imbecile to perpetuate such an act.

Just sickening. One wonders how any thinking person could approve of it.

Yes, Bernita, or a whole posse of scumbags that try to foist such a practice onto civilized countries as a cultural moray.
