In Ankara, Turkey, a family decided their daughter had sullied the family name by befriending boys so these religion of peace followers buried the little girl alive and conscious. She had soil in her lungs and stomach. The father and grandfather have been formally charged. These two are not human beings. They are stone-age mutants. I think a fitting punishment for their blasphemy of human life would be to share the little girl's fate in exactly the same manner. How in God's name can you raise a little girl as a father and grandfather and then do something like this?

Man's inhumanity to man. It's hard to believe, isn't it? In fact, I can't really believe it, although I know it's true... It won't go through to the emotional part of my mind, if you know what I mean.
Thus it is with minds too closed to think, and question, and doubt.
You know Leigh, this is more tragic because the obscenity was done not to strangers but to a daughter/granddaughter. And yeah, I sure do know what you mean.
I used to think the love of a daughter/granddaughter was ingrained so deeply no mutant philosophy could break it, Charles. I stand corrected.
