MONSTER

My novel MONSTER always draws some of the most interesting reviews. It’s not that the novel pretends to be one thing, and then turns out to be something else. It is pulp fiction with high adventure, humor, and violence. While MONSTER was written with a decidedly conservative viewpoint, the story unfolds over 600 pages of action packed military and espionage scenarios, drawn together into an ending a reader will not forget. At $2.99, I think it’s a bargain, but I’m of course prejudiced in favor of the Golem I created in Jeremiah McDaniels aka the Cold Mountain, and his sidekick Kumar Rasheed. I liked this latest reviewer’s take on the novel. He claims it’s a typical Bernard Lee DeLeo novel. He’s right.

5.0 out of 5 stars very easy reading, a very engrossing main character, September 19, 2014

This review is from: MONSTER (Kindle Edition)
A typical Bernard DeLeo book, very easy reading, a very engrossing main character, maybe a little over the top, but If you like Bernard DeLeo books with lots of action where the main character doesn't bother warning bad guys, he just takes them out, than this is a book you will enjoy. By the time you finish the book you will feel you know the characters intimately. From the very beginning when Jeremiah McDaniels (aka: Cold Mountain) attempts to rescue the little girl, the action doesn't stop. I had to force myself to put the book down so that I could could get some sleep (and do my real job) If you cross Cold Mountain you might as well as write your obituary, because he will hunt you down and destroy you....in is not a matter of IF or when, but more like how. And how the information he 'squeezes' from you will lead you on the next adventure...you'll want to keep reading until the end...A very good, very typical Bernard DeLeo written book.

I'm pretty sure I have this for my kindle but haven't read it yet. Does sound like a typical DeLeo book!
