Death of King Rat

It has been a whacky couple of days following the news of Navy Seal Team Six’s takedown of Osama bin Laden. The majority of Americans celebrated, and many did so with exuberance. The comparisons of those joyous Americans to the September 12th, 2001 sub-human, ululating voices in the Arab Street, cheering the fiery deaths of thousands of innocents is an insult in every sense of the word. Not only can’t regular Americans take a few moments to exalt in a nearly flawless military triumph, but now the media and all the armchair generals have to dissect every nuance about how it took place.

In light of that insanity, let’s look at what was overcome. The treacherous rat hid out in a villa right next to a military complex, under the very noses of our supposed Pakistani partners in the terror war. President Obama vetoed a missile strike inside another sovereign nation, because he knew even if there was no collateral damage, the Pakistanis would have hauled out every dead body in the surrounding cemeteries claiming they were killed in the strike. Secondly, and most importantly, he wanted DNA and proof positive we got the rat. Thirdly, no one wanted the rat taken alive for a host of reasons only rose colored glasses wearing idiots can’t understand. Another major obstacle in the decision, that nitwits are calling hesitancy on President Obama’s part to take sixteen hours to give the go ahead on the operation – they didn’t even know for certain the rat would be there.

The bad stuff that could have happened was monumental. Word could have leaked and the Pakistani military could have been waiting. Helicopters carrying our guys could have crashed and burned – one did with luckily no casualties. The whole compound could have been rigged for explosives. Last, but not least, the King Rat may not have been there. I’d say sixteen hours of contemplation was like a split second decision when you factor in all the elements.

Okay, here we go. President Obama orders the strike. Navy Seal Team Six arrives on schedule without detection and serves up one of the most satisfying kill operations in recorded history. They exit the area with King Rat’s body and a treasure trove of Al Qaeda information bounty. In spite of what the Seals knew would happen if they left witnesses, they did not kill anyone they could avoid killing. They left King Rat’s wife and daughter to wail about OBL not being armed and how shattered their lives were now. Oh barf! Anyway, the Seals could have left no other side of the story, but instead they left all the little rats intact – because they’re Americans. The Islamists would have butchered everyone, like they did that family in Israel where they even slit the baby’s throat.

So, the operation succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, and America took to the streets in wild jubilation – all but the sack cloth and ashes, breast beating, flagellant crowd, who also equate the execution of murderers as heinous, but the infanticide of partial birth abortion a logical choice. Well, here’s my take. Great fracking job! I don’t care if they executed King Rat on his knees begging for mercy. I also don’t care what King Rat’s little rats and wife rat say about the details of his death. I most definitely applaud all those Americans who celebrated this victory without guilt. Please, if you feel so bad for King Rat, go start the canonization process for his sainthood… but do it somewhere in private. As for me, I plan on enjoying the moment.

Tactics

When Islamists go to war against each other as in Syria Mosque Attack, they don’t fool around with protecting the sanctity of religious houses – mostly because they know other murderous brethren will use the mosques as staging grounds for attacks. I’ll give the monsters credit – at least they know you can’t win a war with your hands tied behind your back. If we’d waged war against the Islamists as they wage it against each other we would have the hearts and minds of the Muslim world with us right now – or they’d be dead. Instead, we have fifth column terrorist sympathizers in our media and government with no idea whose side they’re on, busily making America a safe haven for terrorists, while turning our own citizens’ lives inside out with agencies like Homeland Security. Headed by the most incompetent boob in American history, Janet (Barney Fife) Napolitano, the agency has progressed from stopping terrorist infiltrators to aiding them while installing pat-downs for five-year-olds at airports. Along with her cohort at CIA and now in the Pentagon, Leon (Cut The Military But Save C.A.I. R.) Panetta, I figure America will have to rely on divine intervention to survive.

Verdict is Death

Sila Sahin posed on the cover of, and did a 12 page pictorial spread inside, a German version of Playboy Islamic Storm Clouds. She acts in a German ‘soap’ and according to her the Playboy pictorial constitutes a reaction to the slavery of her youth. Raised in Germany by two traditional Islamic Turkish parents, I’m quite certain she felt a bit restrained growing up. Although I think acting and being successful on an independent basis would have been enough of a statement, the pictorial was apparently meant to be a stark statement of rebellion. It has achieved the desired result – her Mother and Father are shocked and Mom cut off all ties. With the number of ‘honor’ killings in Germany’s Muslim immigrant population, the cops better put an ankle bracelet on Dad. Ms. Sahin is getting threats now to her life both veiled and outright.

A kebab shop owner, asked on German TV what he would do if Sila were his daughter, replied: "I would kill her. I really mean that. That doesn't fit with my culture." And what culture is that… why the culture of death… of course.

Since these pious followers of Islam supposedly don’t look at pornography (they only read the articles) what would it matter to any of them what Ms. Sahin does? It certainly shouldn’t rate a death sentence. It used to be when kids rebelled against parents they were left alone to fall on their face or grow up to realize rebellion ain’t always as romantic as it seemed in youth. In Sharia Law, the Islamists cure this rebellious period with death. I pray Ms. Sahin avoids the cure.

Water Pipelines

Does anyone else wonder why if we can have fuel pipelines running in all directions across the country, then why can’t we have water pipelines from places like the one in Missouri mentioned in this article Floods to other places like Texas suffering a drought? In my state of California where it’s common to have droughts we have pipelines from our often dry north to our always dry south. I can’t understand why we don’t run a pipeline from the states north of us to siphon off water threatening to overflow. There must be something I’m missing, because it would be well worth the expense for dry places in this nation to be connected to often flooded sections. In a drought states can lose a fortune in lost produce, not to mention the fire devastation like Texas is suffering through.

Nanoparticle Highlight

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) kills a lot of people. It’s found in hospitals, health clubs, schools, and nearly everywhere people gather. I’ve had people I know die or end up in intensive care for weeks because of this bug. Antibiotics don’t kill it. The only thing we have for surviving the bug is a hearty constitution. IBM Research, working with the Singapore based Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology discovered new antibiotic nanoparticles which attack this deadly infection Promising Cure.

Applications, both topical and by injection, of this biodegradable nanoparticle can be used to fight off Superbugs. E-coli bacteria will be a future target along with similar drug resistant bacteria. This new electronically charged treatment must be proven in clinical trials. I would hope it could be used in some real life trials where patients near death could receive it. I’m always puzzled why they can’t widen these clinical trials to include not only a test sample of patients studied in the trials, but also public trials with volunteers in desperate straits who are out of options. The answer is probably the ambulance chasing, class action suit trial lawyers.
