Here is the cover for the just released second book in the series:
Rick Cantelli, P.I. Book II: Deadly Liaisons and the blurb:
Rick starts his seventh decade out on a sour
note. The infamous Cantelli Land of darkness and shadows engulfs
everyone in this new chapter of Rick and
Lois adventures. His prison pen-pal, contract killer Trish Rocha is set
free, and Rick’s world is on fire once again. Lois reveals their first
meeting, and a few past interludes much to Rick’s chagrin – including a
liaison with a beautiful Mossad agent named Adina. A dreadful conjuring
of the past explodes into present day Cantelli Land with a vengeance,
but Rick and Lois are up to the mark.

Rick Cantelli, P.I. Sequel Finished
I wrote the
ending to my Rick Cantelli, P.I. sequel. It will be the twenty-third full
length novel I’ve completed, the twentieth offered on Amazon. Writing the
ending to the novel was the most exhilarating experience I’ve had with a book.
I have no idea if the ending will be as poignant to my readers as it was for
me, but it won’t matter, because as always, in the end we write alone. Rick and
Lois will be released at the end of November if I can complete my preparation
tasks in time. The title of the new release is Rick Cantelli, P.I. Book II:
Deadly Liaisons. I finished it at around the 92,000 word mark. It will be for
sale on Amazon Kindle exclusively. As my publishing partner, RJ Parker, and I
have found out, the other markets for sales are nearly nonexistent. Amazon pays
on time, offers options not available in other venues, and keeps an Author’s
Central up to date hourly. Changes and notes can be made instantly on the
novels. The Book Killers have made the Amazon marketplace like a wild west
show, but I think I’m outpacing them with releases. :) Since all the new smart
phones and tablets have aps for reading Kindle books, along with them being
available in the Apple iTunes store, Amazon is tough to compete with. Deadly
Liaisons will be available in paperback too.
I’ll be starting
on Hard Case Book IV during editing of Deadly Liaisons. It looks like an
exciting new year in writing coming up. Naturally, Bennie, my alter ego who
fixes cars and trucks will be back on the blog the moment a new interesting
customer interaction plays out in my shop I call the Batcave. :)

Hard Case III: Voyage of the Damned, #1 New Release in Assassination Thrillers
Hard Case III: Voyage of the Damned is heading into its second week at the number one spot in hot new releases for Assassination Thrillers. With nine 5 star reviews, we’re hoping it will stay up there a bit longer. Here are two of the latest. Yes, as my writing friends know, we have to promote what we write. :) The sequel to Rick Cantelli, P.I. is now over 70,000 words, and heading to its, I hope, hilarious and action packed ending in the next few weeks.

The Dark Lord Gets No Respect!, November 7, 2013

This review is from: HARD CASE III - Voyage of the Damned (A John Harding Novel) (Kindle Edition)
As much as I hate to pick a favorite book in a series, I have to say
that this one is my favorite so far in this one. The action and humor
starts in the first chapter and don't let up. John Harding is a
wonderfully developed character and in my opinion has the best
personality in every book so far. He is the one who holds his family (
group of monsters ) together and allows them to be themselves. There is a lot that happens in this novel and at times I was blown away with everything. The introduction of new characters belnds well with the series and no one ever seems out of place. This author just does an outstanding job of making everyone fit in where they are supposed too. I mentioned the action and humor but there is always so much more to Bernard Lee Deleo's writing. There is always an aspect of suspense and love that just happen and keep you turning the pages.
Great read and a wonderful fit into this series!

Incredible 3 book series leaves you wanting more, November 7, 2013

The surest way to know you have read a great book is when you finish
that book you feel like your best friend just left town and you don't
know when you'll get to see him or her again. Being at the last of these
three books inspires exactly that kind of feeling. There isn't a lot new in this 3rd book, just more great action, further character development, and lots more dead bad guys.

BTS e-mag - November 2013
The new November issue of Book Trailers Showcase e-mag is out and filled with reviews. Their advertising department and reviewers are first rate. I have four full page ads every month. This month they featured me in an article on my YA/New Adult DEMON Trilogy series on Page 94. It is without doubt one of the best e-mags out there.
