In writing news I made it to 12,000 words in my third part of the YA trilogy DEMON.
Otter’s
Point down in Pacific Grove near Carmel was beautiful yesterday. I went down to
scuba dive and try my luck with another dive movie. I did film a Sunflower
Starfish. They’re pretty common around in that area, but I hadn’t seen one in
quite a while. The ocean was rough, both on top and underneath, but any day’s a
good day now. :) I also took a great shot of a huge Pelican, a gull, and a shot of
the rough waters after my dive. The traffic going down and coming back was
light. All in all, a great July 4th in the middle of the week, especially with getting back in time to do some writing.

Glad you had some fun!
It sure was a better time than if I'd stayed home and worked the chore list all day, Charles. :)
That's a great shot of the bird. The water seemed rough, but it was still pretty clear. Can't wait to see shots of your next dive. :)
The upper roughness really churns up the lower sea storm, Jordan. The pelican, I could tell, had been around people a lot. The size of that sucker when he flew really caught my eye. I'm going to try to get down there much earlier for the next dive. I know when getting underwater between 7AM and 8AM, the water is much calmer. Part of the day's enjoyment is having Joyce along with me before and after, so I can't always get into the water at the optimal circumstances. :) We'll be staying overnight in Pacific Grove later in September, and I'll for sure get under at an earlier time. The movie part has really piqued my interest lately.
The underwater scenery is both strange & relaxing, oddly enough.
Lovely.
Glad you got to go out & play! :)
It is a strange feeling under there, Raine. When I hit a day where it's super still, it's like the magic kingdom. :)
