Sometimes cartoons are all that saves us from going completely insane. This National Geographic article on storing liquid CO2 near New York City is one of the most ridiculous pieces of journalistic crap I’ve run into since Al Gore compared the fight against imaginary man-made global warming to battling the Nazi’s in WWII. It's as if East Anglia never happened. It just goes to show once governmental and scientific morons get knee deep into a bonanza like carbon credit trading fraud it's nearly impossible to get them to stop. Soon, we’ll be exhaling into tanks for storage at places like this. I’d laugh but with the inane stuff already being perpetrated on us by Al Gore-acle and his minions, I’m not sure it’s safe to laugh. Here’s the National Geographic article and a couple cartoons to balance out their lunacy. :)

Sounds like mega-mega snake oil.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Bernita. Maybe we should look at this as a money making opportunity like the rest of the carbon credit trading hucksters. This could be as big as Indian Gaming Casinos. Perhaps I need to start looking for my own CO2 storage vault. I could just say I'm storing it as I imagine these crooks will. After all, nobody's going to open up the tanks anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's put in the ground will come back out again.
ReplyDeleteTrue, Charles, but only if there's anything in them. Remember, the carbon credit trading market is based on imaginary transfers. That's the beauty of a CO2 storage vault. You can charge for storing imaginary stuff so the only thing that comes back out of the ground is your imagination. :)
