It must be the way the brain works when frustrated. Higher functioning must shut down because it is better to step aside and approach a hard job mentally fresh. <br /><br />I golf with a DDS in my foursome and he complains that when he encounters a difficult case, he doesn't have the luxury to put the patient aside. He has to toil away immediately and deal with it now. And he, too, believes its frustration causing the brain to short ciruit making even simple items difficult.
